“Shen” depicts twin mountains standing in harmony, symbolizing tranquility and serenity.
“Miao” evokes the confluence of three waters, signifying abundance and prosperity.
“Yuan” represents a refined sanctuary, embodying meticulous attention to detail and a rich cultural heritage.
After a year of thoughtful preparation, Shen Miao Yuan was brought to life, its design infused with the elegance of Song Dynasty aesthetics and the poetic imagery of mountains and rivers. The interiors are grounded in traditional Chinese hues—Xuanqing, Huaqing, Shiqing, Zhuqing, and Rouge—accented with brushed brass details. The space is appointed with sintered stone dining tables and birchwood chairs, seamlessly blending classical refinement with modern sophistication to create a dining atmosphere that is both timeless and contemporary.
The first floor draws inspiration from the Dreams of Splendor of the Eastern Capital of the Southern Song Dynasty, weaving ancient leisure pursuits—tea preparation, incense appreciation, hanging scrolls, and flower viewing—into its design. Forty-six open seats invite guests to experience the grace of the East.
The second floor houses eight private dining rooms (including two that can be interconnected), each themed after the refined pursuits of “Qin” (zither), “Qi” (chess), “Shu” (calligraphy), and “Hua” (painting). Named individually as Shan, Lin, Yin, Yi, Shui, Yue, Jing, and Hua, each room accommodates 8 to 12 guests, with a total capacity of 80 seats. The setting is serene and elegant, ideal for both intimate gatherings and grand banquets.
Led by a team of master chefs, Shen Miao Yuan honors the rich traditions of Cantonese cuisine while embracing creative innovation. From classic and modern Cantonese dishes to contemporary dim sum, every plate is a harmonious balance of authentic flavor and refined artistry—crafted to provide a high-end dining experience for distinguished business meetings, sophisticated social gatherings, and memorable celebrations.
